Operation Freewheel And Accord
After the success of last year’s demanding endeavour - running the fantastically organised ‘Asics London 10k’ - it is with great pleasure, that we announce this year’s Connaught Club charity event.
On Saturday 17th September, we hope that you will join us on our journey to cycle to all seven Masonic Centre’s in London, in one day, travelling a distance of 74km.
Saddling up after an early breakfast in Ealing at the West London Masonic Centre, the route will take us North to the Southgate Masonic Centre; then onto the Central London Masonic Centre, Clerkenwell for lunch; South-East Masonic Centre, Penge; Mark Mason’s Hall, St. James’; Duke Street Masonic Centre, St. James’ and crossing the finish line at Freemason’s Hall.
This ride should prove a test of your endurance, but should also be an enjoyable event, and when mapping each stage we have been careful to try to ensure a safe quiet passage, to encourage as many cyclists as possible to participate.
The Cause - Bart’s and the London Charity CyberKnife Appeal 2011
The tour around London is part of a £3m fundraising campaign by the London Freemasons to fundraise for a CyberKnife machine, and all sponsorship raised from the cycle ride will be going towards this campaign.
To register your interest, contact W.Bro Charlie, and await further details of your ride goodies.
Join the race, and get on your bike with London Freemasons; with Operation Freewheel and Accord, and help to make the CyberKnife available to all!
